How to change your name in BGMI
- Copy the name you like.
- Open BGMI and tap Inventory on the main screen.
- Open the Box section and find the Rename Card.
- Tap Use, paste the name and press OK.
You need a Rename Card to change your name. Guides list it at 180 UC in the shop’s Treasure section, and some say new players get a free one. Prices and rules change, so check the shop and the rename screen in the game.

Can I use symbols or fancy fonts in BGMI?
Most guides say no: BGMI rejects most symbols and emojis. A few guides say some characters work, but the game can show an invalid character error. Plain letters and numbers are the safest choice.
What if my name is already taken?
BGMI does not allow duplicate names. Add a short word or a number, for example SoloSlayer07.
How often can I change my name?
Each change needs a Rename Card, and guides say you can change it once per day. Check your card and the rules in the game.
